AC Repair in Reno Rooted in Washoe County

Matt Reynolds started Sierra Nevada HVAC to handle the real demands of high desert living in Reno, where hot summers push air conditioners hard and cold winters can leave systems struggling when the switch flips. Operating from the shop on Echo Avenue, the crew stays ready around the clock to reach homes in Midtown, Old Southwest, Somersett, Caughlin Ranch, and Damonte Ranch, plus calls that come in from Sparks and Carson City.

The work here looks different because of the housing stock—many properties in older pockets like Old Southwest sit with original equipment that needs careful AC repair rather than quick swaps, while newer builds out in Damonte Ranch often face dust and elevation changes that shorten component life. Matt keeps the focus on owner-operated service so every job gets direct attention, with quotes given upfront and the finished work left open for inspection.

That local grounding shows up in how the team reads conditions around the Truckee River corridor or near the Nevada Museum of Art, where tight access and older duct runs change the approach to both AC repair and AC replacement & installation.
